Venerdì 19 Aprile, al Contro di Prato si svolgerà Underground Festival con gli Headliner il leggendari Raw Power.

Con loro on stage una batteria di fuoco non indifferente fra Metal e Hc: Over head / Carrion Shreds / Sterminia / Flashback of Anger e Collapse O_O

RAW POWER – BIO :

I Raw Power sono un gruppo Hardcore Punk formatosi nel 1981 a Poviglio,in Emilia Romagna. Il gruppo è considerato come una delle band di punta della scena hardcore italiana di tutti i tempi. Molti li considerano i pionieri del genere e fra coloro che hanno insegnato l’ Hc all’ intera penisola,con un’ influenza decisiva per tutta la scena e la musica successiva. Album come ad esempio ”Screams From The Gutter” (Toxic Shock 1985) sono trasversalmente considerati pietre miliari per la storia dell’ Hc/Punk.

Durante il primo tour negli States i Raw Power suonano a Los Angeles coi Dead Kennedys davanti a più di 4.000 persone. Grazie anche al supporto di Jello Biafra dei Dead Kennedys,che li incoronera’ come ”L’unica band Italiana che vale la pena di essere ascoltata”,i Raw Power iniziano a ricevere consensi anche all’estero,entrando in alcune delle piu’ importanti compilations Internazionali sul genere Punk/Hc.

Seguiranno innumerevoli Tour in America e in tutta Europa per 38 anni. Nel corso della loro carriera i Raw Power condividono il palco con tutti i gruppi più importanti della scena punk, hardcore e metal mondiale:  Dead Kennedys, GBH, Corrosion of Conformity, Suicidal Tendencies, Motorhead, Cro Mags, Sick of it All, Agnostic Front, Circle Jerks, Scream, Adolescents, Rancid, Poison Idea, Slayer, Venom, D.R.I., e nel 1985 in un piccolo club di Seattle una band ancora sconosciuta apre per un loro concerto, i Guns’n’Roses.

Sono anche la band più longeva nella storia del punk hardcore italiano e possono vantare una discografia MOSTRUOSA… :
